Although not orginally from St. Louis, St. Louis considers Sheril Crowe one of its own. Ms. Crowe was recently in town to do a free concert under the Arch grounds on behalf of MLB and the All-Star Game. CBS Early Show hired Tankersley Productions for a one on one interview between Harry Smith and Sheril Crowe with the Arch and a ten story picture of Ms. Crowe in the background as its backdrop. The All-Star Charity event benefitted "Standup 2 Cancer" and featured Ms. Crowe and fellow artist Elvis Costello.

"Can you capture their energy, their joy of just being outdoors"? That was the request of NBC Nightly News producer Patrice Fletcher on our latest assignment featuring Camp Rhythm, a camp for kids with cardiac problems. Sponsored by the Cardiac Department of Childrens Hospital of St. Louis, MO, Camp Rhythm takes the kids out of the hospital and into the woods to enjoy camp much the same way as any other child would. The one exception, the counselors, administrators, and directors are all staff members of the cardiac unit at Childrens. There to ensure each childs special needs are addressed. Doctors dressed as clowns, Kids playing doctor are just a couple of the ways the kids get to have some role reversal and a day of escape. It was a pleasure to bring this story to the public, there were smiles wherever you turned the camera.

Paula Zhan, after many years absent from the public view, is returning this fall with her own show on Discovery called, "On the Case with Paula Zhan". The show takes a deeper look into stories that over time have developed a twist or unexpected turn. Hired to shoot two episodes of the first thirteen, Tankersley Productions found itself in the small towns and villages of Southern Illinois where sometimes the sleepy little hamlet wasn't so sleepy after all and it has stories that would shock the big City. Look for the premier this fall on Discovery this October.
